Implementation details
■ The Application class is named Application – not “Application”.
■ Classes supporting the ChannelFactory are named ChannelFactoryThingy.
■ The assembly name is not the project name but the assembly name + ‘FtpSimpleClient’.
■ The forms (UserControls) in the example project contain only one reference to System.Net.FtpClient.dll.
■ The Main() method of the app does not create the FtpWebRequest. Instead, it creates and uses FtpClient via the ChannelFactory.
■ The FtpClient object then creates the proper channel factory and passes the handle to the FtpWebRequest object.

You’ve had a number of careers prior to being an artist.

I’ve been doing this for 14 years now. I’ve done a number of jobs. I started off as a cook at a NY hotel. Then that turned to bartending. I’ve been touring the world for the last 10 years as a singer/songwriter. I’ve been a painter for about 6 years before that.

You’ve done a number of collaborations with other artists.

I’ve collaborated with tons of artists. I recently did a collaboration with graphic designer Lee Nienhauser and we did a collection for art REWORK in the US. I did a collaboration with Adidas for their #ArtREWORK ad campaign, so I was actually in the studio making the art with my design team. We’re doing a series called “How I am”. It’s an ongoing series about how I am and what’s going on. It’s going to be good material.

I just did an art tour with artist Dan Hambleton (Above). It was a four

A class to interact with an FTP server.

FtpClient Implementation:

Client implementations of the FTP protocol are still primitive. Just a few.
The first of these are the two mentioned above. The original 3.5 implementation is not really fast or well optimized. Neither is the 3.5a version. See the question Performance of FTP vs. Web client for more information on which version you are using.

The System.Net.WebClient class provides a wrapper for several Web
