If you press the button that show the midi controller, it will not record but it will change the parameter. Please be sure your recording has finished.

So you can record your midi or audio source, then quickly play it back again using the same instrument. Whether it is a midi event, a sequence or song: It will be played back precisely as it was recorded.

You can record individual sound effects or a complex instrument setup and then playback them instantly. SamplePlayer will record the midi events and be able to playback it in nearly all digital audio workstations (WAV, MP3, etc.). It will rewind and instantly loop in any DJ software. Furthermore you can also import and export your sounds into and from other audio file formats. Sound files exported from SamplePlayer can also be loaded into the instrument.
Having the midi routing functionality also allows the playing of multiple instruments in a DJ set simultaneously. So you can play either the Midi or Audio track in the background.

A few options to change the playback rate:
Playback rate can be set through the midi lanes and by using sliders. Currently only done for MIDI channels and AOTree. It will be implemented for AudioPlayers in the future.
Also SamplePlayer has a dedicated midi port for playback with midi controllers and for control from midi equipment, such as midi mixers.

notes from the MIDI device (like a MIDI keyboard, etc.). Sample names
are taken from the file names.
PROJECT LOOP is similar to SAMPLIT_LOOP but allows you to record
MIDI from a MIDI file, a sequence in a MIDI sequencer, or instruments
in a DAW. It is designed to loop MIDI from a MIDI sequencer
or a DAW file. It records everything that comes from the audio/video
device (like a microphone, etc.) and the MIDI notes from the MIDI
