I already have Lightroom 5.2. Today I upgraded to version 5.2.1. I keep going back to still looking at the two as separate products. In Lightroom I can’t remember since when the Formats section has been available. This is no longer there. I use Photoshop to touch up stock photos before Lightroom and these are now superseded by the new Lightroom editing form with the new workflow. In addition it takes a while to find the tools you need. I have to scroll down the Power Source list to see the ‘format’. I have on screen. I have to scroll up to find the letter ‘D’ for Develop. I have to scroll all the way down to see the format, Wet, Cold, etc.

I use Lightroom 5.2 and Photoshop 6.1 Update 2 to edit my JPG’s. I have recently noticed that I work on my JPG’s over 40 hours a week. I use Lightroom to compare the new image against the previous image. The thing is that I don’t load the complete image 8 megapixel into another app to crop it. I want to see the entire image at least, the highlights, shadows, etc. I use an app to make a much higher quality copy of the original for storage on my hard drive.
