How to send request message to CQRS from client?
Consider this example scenario. A shop has a payment system, the client side of the system has two entry points.
the client sends an order by scanning a QR code
the client sends a money deposit by entering a number on the same page
We have one order processor that handles both of these tasks. It sends messages to both these to streams for further processing.
Now, the problem is the shop registers, what we need is their registration fee.
My question is, what is the best way to send the amount a user has to pay?
It’s a 2-way communication between the shop and the client so the message flow is DIP (does it matter?)
Now, I have these options:
Send a message to the stream a user has paid for

simplified
Cons
requires routing the messages to the correct stream
requires client side to know the registration fee
Or send a message to the stream that handles the registration, but the problem is, the stream’s methods require a userId, and we don’t know which user is on the client.

requires the client to know the registration fee before the registration
routing the request to the right stream is expensive (we are using Event Sourcing)
Or I could send the registration fee to the CustomerRepository, and let the command handler figure out which stream to send it to.

seems the simplest and the most logical, however, I’m not sure what’s the best way to send a command from a command handler? should I send the command to the same stream as the stream I’m handling it from?

I use EventStore for my read side.

From your implementation point of view, I’d generally go with the last solution: I’d make sure that the command handler knows about the stream the registration fee belongs to.
send the registration fee to the CustomerRepository, and let the command handler figure out which stream to send it to.
I’d either use the command handler’s IParameterSource to supply the registration fee itself, or I’d make the command handler pass the registration fee as a parameter
