I do not know whether it is my computer or whether it is a defect in the program, but Guitar Scenes Screensaver does not seem to be entirely fit for use.
Guitar Scenes Screensaver set up properly, but when you have already started the screensaver, you have the possibility to make changes. Nevertheless, if you click on the Settings icon you are taken to a web page that does not work properly.
You have to wait two or three minutes until the next screen. This is quite annoying, especially if you are not a man of patience.
The slideshows do not appear, sometimes it happens that the engine does not even start.
Moreover, when I click on Start, in some situations I get a pop-up window that says “The folder “C:\Windows\system32″ cannot be opened”

I like the guitar theme very much but I do not see the option to add/remove songs which is a big flaw in my opinion. Other than that it is good work.

Wow it’s hard to describe how awful it is to have this project in my current status!
It’s true the developers are updating it and trying to fix it, but that won’t help me that much, it is still a dead project.

What we thought:
In short, Guitar Scenes Screensaver is not a really good musical screensaver, even though it does provide a lot of nice pictures of guitars. This software really lacks any deep configuration capabilities and you cannot choose the images or sound files that you want to be used as a screensaver, which limits its functionality and makes it a little less attractive.
But we should also take into consideration that the latest version of the program came out in May 2012 and is only available in the English language. Although that is a not a big problem, it makes the program less attractive and gives it a less user-friendly interface.
The good news is that after installing the tool you need to choose a screensaver and change it with your new one. Once done, you can exit the program with the X button in the top-left corner of the application
