A new cockpit, with new detailing of the inside, pressure plates for the ejection seats and neat little features like a nice close-up of the celestial navigation (Nav) map. NF122 mapping for the continental US and NF124 mapping for the rest of the world. North Atlantic, East Asian mountains, North African mountains, South African mountains, South African area maps and many new labels for the rest of the world.
The new shader system in FSX2 will allow us to get the best performance possible, while also providing a high quality look that should make it much easier to create a high end and realistic aircraft.
April 07 : I haven’t updated this for a while, but seems like lots of people aren’t knowing about it, or didn’t care in the first place. The new version is now ready for release, containing F-14A Pro, NF111 to NF113, HLA-78, and A-4A. I thought about making a new thread, but I’ll just post here to tell you that it’s ‘finally’ done. A.7 patch file has been uploaded to support the changes, and some m/l and notable fixes, and a few new things.
April 14 :It’s been a long time coming, and a lot of time was spent with converting the models. However they are almost finished. I remade loads of stuff including loading the IRIS F-14A model into the game in the same way that it came out of the factory. This includes the flight manual, cockpit, nose-wheel doors, ejection seats, weapons, other prop numbers, etc.
