This application is designed to remove devices without rebooting.
It is a must-have program for those people who have hard drives and USB flash drives connected on a computer system that is kept for a long time.
Ex. You connect a hard drive, remove it and it doesn’t ask you to remove the device from the system.
The DEVICEEJECT macro allows you to manually remove the devices.
This device removal is done in two ways:
1. You can disconnect USB flash drive directly from the computer.
2. You can remove the drive from the system’s motherboard.
how to use devEject:

Running the application:
1. Start devEject from your desktop.
2. Click on the DEVICEEJECT button.
3. Select the USB Flash Drive or the External Hard Drive.
4. Click on the OK button.
Deleting the program:
If you don’t want to keep this program on your desktop, you can uninstall it from your desktop.
The following menu options are available on the DEVICEEJECT button:

If a USB port is not connected to the system, the program will report error.
If a USB flash drive is already removed from the system, you can remove it again.
The flash drive that is removed from the computer system, is NOT automatically removed from the program.
The DEVICEEJECT application will open a file that contains the MAC address of the USB flash drive.
It is advised that the DEVICEEJECT application is kept open during the entire time you are removing the USB drive from the system.
When the last file of the USB device is removed, the program will automatically close.
In case you need to reboot your system to perform an action, you can use the RESET button to reboot the system.
When you are not using this computer for a long time, you should reboot it by selecting REBOOT SYSTEM from the DEVICEEJECT application’s menu.

USAGE:

There are two ways to start DevEject:
1. Go to “Start” -> “Run” and type “deveject.exe”
2. Click on “Run” icon in the context menu.
DevEject’s window is very small. To open it right click on “DevEject” icon in the tray area, or right click on the window and select “Minimize”.
CONFIRMATION MESSAGE:

DevEject has been installed successfully.
You can now use it to connect and disconnect plug and play devices from your computer.
To open DevEject’s window right click on the icon in the tray area or on the taskbar and select “DevEject”.
IMPORTANT!
If you click “Yes” on this window you will be asked to allow deveject to make permanent changes to your computer.
If you do not want to continue, use ‘no’ and then click on “Cancel”.
To disconnect all connected devices, click on “Disconnect all” button.
If you click on the tray icon and click on the “Start cleanup” button it will clean your USB drives.
