To achieve its primary goal Config Hunter applications has been written in Objective-C and takes advantage of a versatile and powerful data structure called a Map. Maps are sublcasses of a class called a Set which itself is a subclass of an Array. On the other side a Set is a subclass of a Vector and a Vector is a subclass of a Deque which is a Linked List. The only difference is that Set has no pointers while Vector and Deque are as optimized as it is possible. With them we can create the basic building blocks of all data structures.The objective of this app is to provide you the basic building blocks of data structures that you want to use in your daily activities.
Config Hunter main window contains an array of mapNodes. A mapNode simply consists of a string identifier. The identifier is consisted of two parts, it starts with an underscore (_) and then uses the characters contained in the MapNodes object we’ll discuss in more detail later. Here’s an example: “_.a.b.c”
A MapNode object’s mapNodes attribute contains a List of MapNodes objects. A MapNodes object is a simple structure containing a string identifier, a linked list of MapNodes objects. The identifier is displayed in the mapNodes method. Below is an example of how a simple List of MapNodes objects is represented.

General Interface:
￭ It’s very simply, there are only two options for window states. First is it’s normal state with chart and all config info on it, second is the configuration mode with configurations only. (You can activate the normal state by pressing Ctrl key as well)
￭ After you activate configuration mode you will be able to bring up 2 windows, the first is for main configuration window and the second is for configuration info window.
￭ Right clicking on an element you will bring up the configuration info window.
￭ Within this window is all information about the element.
￭ If in configuration mode the element will be highlighted in red.
￭ If in normal state the element will be highlighted in green.
Navigation menu:
￭ Top left corner is a menu, this menu allows you to bring up main windows, configuration modes, item search and personal history list.
￭ Bottom right corner of the main window is the element search window where you can enter a new element or activate an item in personal history window.
￭ I’ve added buttons on top of the right menu for refreshing the window and bringing up the configuration mode.
￭ Each button in configuration mode will bring up a windows (same as main configuration mode but with the configuration window instead of main window).
￭ The title bar allows you to bring up a regular windows (same as the main window).
￭ I’ve added a button in personal history window which will bring up configuration mode.
￭ The left side of the main window is list of configurations. A checkbox is next to each configuration and also an item that will bring you back to configuration mode.
Configurations:
￭ In this version I support 2 types of configurations.
￭ T-Minor – The name was taken from the system of J.V. T-Minor in which most calculations are made.
￭ Grand Cross – This configuration system was used in the program Ptolemy. If I remember correctly from an article which I read.
￭ Kite – To be more clear on what this configuration is this is the configuration that rules with squares and sextiles.
￭ Rectangle – This configuration system was developed by the ancient astrologers, I don’t know exactly what it is but if I remember correctly it is the configuration that is formed by 3 bodies, Jupiter

You can search configurations using a:
