But InfoPath’s main issues have not gone away. It is a bloated application with a ton of stuff you don’t want to be using. It really doesn’t help that InfoPath is tied to two very different applications, Smart Documents (a smart form) and InfoPath Designer. This is the platform for pushing those forms onto a third-party web server. The third system, typically E-mail, gets dumped instead on the desktop. Typically, you’d spot a bad use of desktop views in Studio applications.
