An image sensor which detects an image by reading a reflected image of an object by a light receiving element such as a CCD or CMOS and transmitting the image to an external device has been known.
In recent years, as the number of pixels of image sensors has increased, the density of the pixels has become very high and the amount of blur in an image has become very small. For this reason, when an image is captured by a conventional image sensor, the image is hard to see because of the small amount of blur.
An apparatus has been proposed which uses a plurality of image sensors to obtain a sharp image of an object.
The proposed apparatus includes, for example, two or more image sensors and a processing circuit which processes images obtained by the image sensors and outputs an image signal of a sharp object.
If the images obtained by the image sensors are used to obtain a sharp image, it is necessary to make the images as sharp as possible. The sharpness of an image is determined by the amount of blur (distortion) of the image.
