For example, you can’t open RAW images using Elements and you can’t work with RAW images at all.
Elements can do everything a pro version of Photoshop can and then some. It’s a graphics editor and a big one.
That said, if you’re not into editing images and looking for an app with more basic features, you should use Photoshop Elements. Although Elements does come with a handful of preset photo effects, it doesn’t offer enough to replace Photoshop in its more complex ways.

Brush Tools

Crop
Crop Brush can be used to remove an unwanted area from an image. For example, you can use this tool to cut out a person from an image. The Crop Brush can also be used to crop out a part of an image that is not part of the final image you are working on.
Sketch
