While folder structures aren’t available in this version, they should be coming.
If I were to present the image above as a cinematography student, I would offer some feedback: you don’t need to remove the Car and the lines on the pavement to make the image sing. As it stands, as narrative images are kind of cool, but are probably not too demanding. That is, not like a traditional narrative photo, which would require a keen eye to see all of the little details in the subject. While not everyone has a refined and clairvoyant eye that could capture and convey the nuances in images like this one, perhaps the software could be improved to make everything easier and faster to use. One criticism of the software indeed stems from the fact that there is a heavy reliance on filters, which are often imperfect. In some cases this can provide an interesting effect, but it can also create headaches. Another major point of criticism is Adobe’s introduction of a new Line Smoothing Radial Filter. This filter is technically impressive and makes a good impression, but its use in real world photos seems a bit narrowly defined and it could lead to some unexpected results when making subtle changes. This is not an ideal filter for architectural photography, for example. I might also point out that there are some minor issues with the new skin retouching tools found in Photoshop as well. These tools do not work wonders, but I’d like to see them get a bit better.
